Bleeding deaths from critical score

Scoring a critical with certain weapon types results in bleeding; when this bleeding effect kills a mob you don't get any xp/rank from it. Is there any chance of fixing it so you get credit for the kill when this happens, or if that's too complicated for some reason, make the same fix that was made for suffering on tic (i.e., stop the effect from killing the mob if it's engaged)? Or, if neither of those is possible, just remove the bleeding effect from criticals and replace it with something else?

A similar change to poison would be nice too, but I can understand how it might be purposefully left that way (because using poison is always a choice - scoring criticals is not something I can control beyond avoiding the relevant rank effect to increase the odds of it happening).
