Aggro Good Align Mob Xp Loss

I dont think this should come under bugs , but wasnt sure where else to put it, so apologies if its in the wrong section.

I play a lawful good maintank barb.
If I enter a room with 3 aggro good align mobs and dont make any aggressive acts then when they die I recieve xp or rank points.

However in many higher zones, I enter room, aggro good align mobs attack me, group enters and assists, and good align mobs then start rescuing each other or targeting group members. Now as soon as I rescue groupies, this is seen as an aggressive move against the mobs, and so when they die I lose xp. Normally its a minor issue, but in a fight where the 2nd or 3rd mob is rank, it means I end up missing the rank because I lost xp on the first minor mob that died, due to my 'aggressive' rescuing.

Is there any way of coding rescue not to be aggressive if the mobs have already initially aggroed me?

Have you considered changing

Have you considered changing your alignment to good-neutral? it's not that hard but would take some time.

I like being LG and I have

I like being LG and I have no issue with losing xp for when I aggro good align mobs. Im just pointing out that even though these mobs agro me, when I rescue against them its seen as an aggro act by me, while rescuing through other skills isnt seen as agro - which doesnt make sense - to put it in simple terms 'If they started it, why do i get penalised..'

A lawful good character

A lawful good character would never say: 'If they started it, why do i get penalised..'

If you are on a hockey team, and someone picks a fight with your team mate and you intervene (rescue) you get severely penalized and your coach is not too impressed with you. That's part of the lameness of being lawful good. if you won't change your alignment, you'll have to live with the consequences.

I can see it going either

I can see it going either way--personally I wouldn't have given the breaks you get now for just sitting there and taking it from the goodie mob. But its enough of a borderline case that its as likely to be an oversight as it is to be intention, so its good that Andy brought this to the imms attention.

That's a great analogy. Dave
