Well i just reenter this forum and i gotta say the site isnt really appealing to my sense. Who would this look to new mudders? As many people like to say "don't judge a book by its cover". But lets face it, its the first thing people look at. So why not try like a website building competition? With some ingame prizes? Rank points, lvls or some imm built item like most tournaments at least years ago would give. Again this is just an idea, im sure some people would love a chance to play around with a website for arctic.

I think appealing is a matter of personal preference. I much prefer this plainer look to those incredible eye-sore mud websites I have seen before. Who wants to have to disable background images in their browser just so they can look at a website.
What I think would be neat is if someone took a log in arctic and converted it to Flash? We could use it as a splash page for the front page? That might encourage people to come and check out the mud. It would be neat if one actually took a streaming video of some simple fight in arctic to show people who are interested in text mudding what it looks like.
Maybe some simple walk-throughs of some low level zones and a description of how to get started in arctic in video form?
Also, I strongly approve of the use of Drupal as the CMS for this website. One of the default features of Drupal is its incredible built-in SEO (clean-urls) which makes this website ranked very high on Google for searches for 'Arctic Mud'.

Ok, first of all a good site
Ok, first of all a good site doesnt have to be eye-sore, they are good sites periods. I find this site kinda plain and im thinking more of the new players than on myself. Im been playing arctic for almost 10 years which i love. The game is great, but this site needs some revamping. This is why i call for a competition, so imms can pick the best site, or maybe the players can, without having an eye-soring site.

Feel free to create a new skin for drupal which you think we could use. I have little patience for doing CSS. There is a lot of extendability in drupal to add a lot of different kinds of content.
