Didnt think these kinds of bugs would be appropriate to post in the BUGS forum
Search function doesnt work right.
It doesnt matter what "options" you select.
It still shows you the posts in the same order, and from all forums.

I've managed to use the search function to find posts I was looking for just fine.

maybe it's just cuz i am using firefox
altho i am a member of a couple other forums
that are all based on the same codebase
and using firefox i have had no problems with searching
given, the other forums have different names for categories and such
but the underlying code is basically the same
so i doubt it is a browser issue
have u been able to search (well) recently?
someone posted something about kick
and i knew there was a previous post about it
possibly even in the news
or a different bug post about kick and its messages
and searching didnt help
it would bring up things that didnt even contain the word kick, as near as i could tell

The only search function I use, and which continues to work just fine for me is new posts since last visit. Actually I have that search paremeter bookmarked as my link for the forums heh.

even using Lynx in unix
i meant when u click on one of the eight links top right of page
