This idea is pretty self explanitory. Since tablets changed they are really really annoying to locate right now because many of them don't have "tablet" in the item keywords.

oh I totally agree, please add tablet to all tablets. Nol i don't think the point was to nerf locate or they would have done it with everything else (spellbooks just got changed after all). I think they were trying to make them more interesting (which they are) and this was overlooked. Why screw the druids for no reason? Nah I don't think that was the case.
Why should druids be an exception when they've not yet been incorporated into the new spell loss system?
on your first point are you locating wyne or something? many high books are not deathload.
clerics have books beads and staves while druids have 4 or 5 things in one zone. Maybe all druid tabs are deathload making this entirely moot though (so far it seems so). We all know to locate 'staff' 'book' or 'beads' and in what zone we do which, we will now have 4/5 things to locate in one zone for druids.

To tell you the truth, I really dislike being contrary, and such has gotten me in trouble in the past. You're not a bad poster, but it just so happens you and I don't see eye to eye on alot of mage related issues.
I'm not convinced that this should be a problem, clearly some of the new "tablets" aren't tablets at all. I didn't think druids got 'locate object', and if you've made a habit of getting scrolls in the past, the difference is that you'll have to buy a few more.
In making a lot of gear load more like spells, there is a general disparity in locating. While it wasn't an intended issue to make tablets harder to locate, I find it to be a suitable feature.
