Cerebral Graft is a 9th circ black robe buff, which loads next to mind afire. As a comparison of the two, graft is useless as tits on a boar. Why is this?
Black robes have black rune, which protects against almost all effects MINDSHIELD protects against. Cerebral Graft has no other purpose: merely MINDSHIELD. As a runed/AMS caster, MINDSHIELD is largely useless, certainly not worth a rend slot. And yet, this spell holds pride of place in the spell list next to mind afire, a +spelldam true seeing buff with longer duration and without the PITA usage requirements of graft.
Now, I accept that there may be 1 or 2 high-end debuffs that rune doesn't protect against, and perhaps as a secondary benefit, mindshield is of use there. However, that's far from an appropriate description of a 9th circ mage buff which loads off 8man mobs. Please revisit this spell, and add stats of use to it comparable to the other 9th circ end-game mage buffs. As it is, I used it a few times, read the help file, cried silently, and stopped memming it.
It's simply useless, and it shouldn't be.
