Title: Casual players exp
Post by: Jorquin on January 15, 2014, 12:01:34 PM
You guys should add some like, bonus that people get for a couple of hours if they haven't been on in X amount of time, so that people that just play casually and solo and stuff don't get as hurt by the exp scaling at higher levels

Could make the bonus only apply when not in groups as well or something

A rest XP system isn't a bad idea at all. Currently we have a lot of bonuses for exp gains, all of which are not easy to explain or understand. Our goal moving forward will be to simplify and condense exp gains so hopefully a rest system isn't even required. That being said, we are not against evaluating the situation when we get there.

Wouldn't this lead to crazy alts for hardcore players? Seems like it would hurt anti-trash efforts? Would it be possible to limit the "rest xp" by domain?

While you're working towards that goal can you keep in the back of your mind some thought for the players who enjoy solo-exping? It seems like it's not even an option in the current game.

Zero benefit to soloing, many, many, many hindrances.

There are actually quite a few bonuses for solo players, and we will keep in mind all feedback from players (except Corey).
