Title: open source arctic code
Post by: fulloflife on August 03, 2013, 12:05:10 PM
I propose that the gatekeepers open Arctic code to Github and allow volunteers to submit code changes\new code for ideas.

People are always providing ideas and there are certainly talented people out there who can actually provide the code as well so why not give them a chance to submit the code and the staff can decide whether to incorporate or not.

The main reason being that it would then allow people to get an absolute detailed view of how the game mechanics work, and thus give those with the knowledge a decisive advantage in the game (in PvE and PvP). If they wanted people to know those kinds of details then they would have not made them such a foggy mess for the past 10+ years. At-least that's my take on why they will probably say no =)
