Aren't the most notorious aggressives also the most notorious botters?
-
I like it
-
wait I changed my mind I don't like it
-
Can we consider limiting "who" to like 10 sec cooldown per aggro flag?
-
Ok after some thought and some discussion with a fellow mudder we have concluded this is a bad idea
Reason: What if you log and kill 3 people in DELE clan which is by far large in numbers
Answer: You will surely die because they will masslog and you wont have anyway of knowing without cheating by planting neutral/bots around again this will help botters mainly.
This also ruins the type who "see enemys" panic aspect of the game which is always a bonus when a txt game makes u panic
All in all this is a bad move just like when the gods made being seen on the who board an option.
Typing "who" is part of the game and to take that away from a txt game in itself is taking away quite abit and will make mudding more boring..
everybody get that ok?

When was who optional? What were the reasons for discarding it? Do these reasons apply to the current situation?

I miss the days of "HUNT THE PERSON AT THE BOTTOM OF THE WHO LIST BECAUSE WE WANT TO BE THERE INSTEAD".
-
I was thinking the exact same thing.
-
Adding more risks to player killing and of course preventing people from going on mass-murdering sprees via the usual summon. I like it.
-
I like it too.
@gnua
That's a pointless point IMO. Not doing something just because someone can/might find a way around it doesn't mean it shouldn't be done or isn't a good idea (or bad idea).

Can you really have a pointless point?
