We basically asked ourself "what would piss Bryton off" and then did that.

it's completely out of hand, hope punch gonna get nerfed.
In fact all damage is way too high, should be toned down a lot, especially skill damages.
And legendary should be way harder to obtain...

That's a really did hurt on a 530 hp character. This game has gotten so bad. I loved when massacres were good.

Punch/bash aren't affected by damage but shield quality (bash only).

I made mention of it the past couple wipes when Andrew was bashing as well as Gabbo last wipe. Warriors aren't the issue though - the entire game is bapted right now. PvP doesn't make sense period.

Stop bapting whine and fight. You can legend basher in 7-8 days if you play alot, in 2 weeks if not. Current game mechanics is pretty well suited for weak side cos you can do insane entry amount of damage using half-naked chars. Wipes before chars like Juan was simply unkillable, now you can just 1-round nobash caster with 4-5 semi-naked characters.

As a bystander watching pvp I guess the question is: why is damage so high compared to max hps/defense? Should it be possible for a nobash/best geared char to be 1 rounded by "4-5 semi-naked chars?" Is that the game we want to be playing?

I think I understood why there was a buildup of legendary: to help small groups able to complete end zone content on less numbers due to playerbase size, but I don't think there was much discussion put into that huge instant-damage and how it would correspond to pvp. Should a single target spell be doing 150-200 damage pre-legend (or post legend for that matter?) Should skills that arent reliant on +dam deal 70-80++ damage (non-backstab)?

Would a -20% (insert random number) damage dealt across the board to pvp change things? Remove legendary? I don't really know how to fix it while still allowing smaller groups to be able to complete end-game stuff... I know Aristox and Hoss are talking about changing the dynamics of pvp and allowing for longer fights... is it impossible to "hot fix" stuff now until that is implemented?

As for me i dont want to see unkillable characters like Tinotaur and Juan in game - being able to focus damage anyone in game with 4-5 semi-loaded is nice for mud. It gives chance for weaks to equal chances.

We had discussed this and decided that the effort required to 'hot fix' these issues would not be a proper investment of resources.

Rather than the straight balance issue of damage, I would say the primary issue with PK is the mentality of the people doing the pk.   Here's what I mean.

Last night, I was grouped with someone who said "Your clan let WILDS in last wipe! I had to pk all your clan because you let 2 wilds in!" 

 No, you didn't have to pk the entire clan. You chose to, because you have a bapted view of this game.  It is a GAME.   People come here to enjoy playing it.  If you permanently hunt a *player*, no matter what level his character, what his behavior, or who he associates with in game... you are an objectively awful person.  No real argument there.  If you want to pk, pk with at least the tiniest bit of class.  Let people re-equip. Let people have fun.  This isn't a bapting war, people, it's a goddamned game. 

Lottie, Tim, a few others... I'm talking to you, here. You make this a worse place to enjoy my free time.

All the whinning that Jason and gramm do on these forums makes me want to go out of my way to pk them more often.
