We will be holding a tournament on August 24th at around noon system time.
There will be epic prizes for the winner(s) and absolutely nothing but
death for the losers.

The format will likely be 3v3 and a 'best in class' competition. I will
dole out more information in the following week(s), but wanted to get the
news out asap so that you could plan accordingly.

The format for the tournament will be as follows:

• Characters wanting to participate in the tournament must be legendary status.
• Based on participation, the format will be 2v2 or 3v3.
• No equipment will be used, leave your equipment at home. Each character will be
  provided with their weapons of choice.
• Team selection: this might likely be up for change, but so far we would like to
  do random selection on teams.
• Awards: Legendary badges will be given out for the winners of each bracket and
  one for a voted MVP.

To facilitate the team selection, I will put a sticky thread in "General
Discussion". If you would like and plan on attending the tournament, please post

I think if your going to do a no gear tournament you need to really look at minimum equipment. I can imagine nightfall dk groups just smashing everyone for example...

I will likely close and pull the names of people and get them slotted on Friday evening (around 6pm Game). Anyone that wants in after that is going to be at the very back of the line and might be pushed out. I would rather you post that you would be attending and have to find an alternate than have you wait around hoping to get in.

After counting all 11 entries, I will be debating canceling this tournament and just giving everyone that signed up a prize. More to come...I need beer!
