I've been playing an awful mobile game where i have to log in twice a day or i lose "progress". I know it's stupid but it is strangely fulfilling and has kept me playing for over two years.
Arctic is the opposite of awful, but maybe a similar system to keep the game in the front of players minds? Perhaps 1% current level xp and 1% current rank each day for logging on?
