Ranks and expanding on the end-game

This hopefully doesn't end up being too long and to 'snotty' for anyone.

The current state of ranks that are available for purchase could use some love. Yes, there are a TON of ranks to choose from....some are ok, some are amazing. What I think should happen, in terms of ranks is something like this:

Adding more ranks such as:

Target resist by 2-5% 0/3  cost: 5 RP
Spell damage done 2-5% 0/3 cost: 5 RP
Extra attack chance 2-5% 0/3 cost: 5 RP
Health by 5 or 10 0/2 cost: 3-4 RP
Spell critical hit by 1% 0/3 cost: 4 RP
Mem factor by 5-10 0/3 cost: 4 RP
-2-4% melee damage taken 0/2 cost: 6 RP
-2-4% spell damage taken 0/2 cost: 6 RP

Just little things like this that people can strive for outside of the current ranks.

My druid is currently rank 40
You currently have 1 Rank Point to spend.

Your current rank affects:

1  Arcane Infiltration    SPELL_SAVES_MOD by 1         
2  Legendary Enlarge      spell slots by 1 at level 4   
3  Legendary Healing Cloud HEALING_BONUS by 20           
4  Legendary Primal Fury  spell slots by 1 at level 7   
5  Legendary Storm Call   WIS by 2                     
6  Legendary Stone Skin   spell slots by 1 at level 8   
7  Arctic Legend          Turns you into a Legendary   
                          character.                   
8  True Grit              CON by 2                     
9  Legendary Ice Storm    spell slots by 1 at level 5   
10 Grit                   CON by 1                     
11 Super Nerd             INT by 2                     
12 Arcane Infiltration    SPELL_SAVES_MOD by 1         
13 Nerd                   INT by 1

At this point, gaining another rank or 5 doesn't really matter because there really isn't anything I'm excited to get. There isn't much I necessary NEED or really WANT to get. I think having a little more flexibility in terms of ranks would help people stick around longer too.  I sure would feel more like ranking grinding knowing I could buy a few of those ranks above than buying another con/int/wis/concentration rank.

I like all of these ideas. Especially the extra attack chance

More options are always good. Customizing your character to your playing style makes playing more fun. Also, why is there a limit on ranks? It is pretty challenging to get to rank 50, just make it continue to drop 10% rank per kill for each rank past 50 so the people who invest the most time in their characters don't quit at some arbitrary number.
