Firstly, Arctic = best game in the world. Been playing on and off since the 90's.
I keep to myself. Very few players would know me. I am flat out remembering anyone's name in RL let alone on artic. I enjoy doing things at my own pace and don't expect hand outs.
I played a bit at the start of this wipe. 2 players was a nice addition and was what brought me back. As per usual, hit about lvl 29 and got bored of running the same zones I had run a 1000 times before and took a break.
I recently started playing 4 characters at a time (2 from a phone and 2 from my PC). I really enjoyed being able to do some new things that were always out of reach. Pyramid, rainsong, that guy in the bog with the chest etc. - This gives you an idea that I am certainly not competing with anyone for elite items.
My goal was to grind to 1exp get an exotic character and learn dko. - I am sure some of you will say this is doable with a legend pair but i have never legended, it is not likely I ever will and I am OK with this. My tanks had 3d5 primes. I didn't have any crazy scripts (rank bots really??!!) which meant that any death usually meant a mass rip. This added to the fun.
I can understand that in a PK mud the idea of one person running around controlling a full group is not desirable. I can also understand the drive for arctic to be a social place.
Just logged on - 12 characters (6 players?).
The mud is designed for groups but this isn't really realistic given the playerbase.
Some will say I am looking for special consideration, I guess I am asking for no consideration. To live and let live so to speak. I would be happy to have my PVP damage reduced to 0 and have a flag that prevents wearing limit items.
In short, love the game, really enjoy leveling characters up to lvl 29, solo playing anything past this has become too much like work so would love to see the character numbers relaxed.
Thank you.
