(This is not a pwipe announcement.)
We have a number of projects currently underway that we felt it
would be good to give everyone an update on. I'll let you read
that stuff first so you can skip all the words at the end if you
like.
New zones coming soon:
Ancient Labyrinth (high) Kholos
Neraka: Blue Dragonarmy Camp (mid-high) Flair
Forest of Wayreth (low) Dandalf
New rebuilds coming soon:
Woods of Lahue (Pigmy Forest) (mid-high) Rinad
Isle of Shadows (high) Kholos and Kam
New expansions coming soon:
Balifor Underbelly (low-mid) Kam and Anista
Balifor Dockyards (low-mid) Kam
Thieves' Cove (mid-high) Kam
Other updates across various zones, more details to come:
- Dragons will be more dragon-like. The weak dragons especially.
- There will be some new dragons in the world.
- Generally we recommend being afraid of dragons. They are scary.
- Kender can be any class and will roll straight 28s for stats. (TBD)
We currently do not have a date in mind for the next playerwipe
to occur but once we're able to complete these and all the other
changes I'm not telling you about, we will set a firm date.
At the moment we only have myself (Kam) and Flook to handle the
normal operation of the game and the creation port. We are very
lucky to have a new group of immortals interested in creation and
working hard on a number of zones for us all, as well Sanjuro who
is still making time to try to kill you all with his next project.
We'd like to thank everyone for playing, those who've stuck
around and those who've come back (and even some of those who have
stayed away). It takes a lot of work to keep this thing running
and we're happy to do it for you all. We hope you'll be able to
keep up the patience as we crawl into the future together.
