I'll most likely delete you in the morning.

On Friday, March 1st (around Noon MST), the mud will close as we prepare for
a playerbase wipe. We currently plan to reopen the game for players
sometime on Friday, March 8th and we will update the forums when we are
closer to an exact time. During the next wipe Aristox and I will be
working on the lube project and will give more frequent updates on progress
and look for feedback on certain systems. The goal is to give players more
transparency on the changes that will be coming with the new project and
collect feedback and ideas from you.

I want to give a heartfelt thank you to all those that have donated to the
game, to date we have collected $1,034.00 USD which has covered the costs
of moving Arctic to a stable host and server. Only 20 percent of the
donations have been skimmed into our hookers and blow fund, so thank you
very much.

The player wipe is several days away, so feel free to keep playing, but
don't expect buffs or free gear. We may not hand them out at all, but if we
do it won't be until at least Thursday night.

I would like to make a few suggestions since you're already going to do some big changes.

I have noticed that Arctic world as a whole has a LOT of eq compared to the dwindling number of players.  Maybe to make the game more competitive, reduce the limits of ALL the good gear across the board.  Some eq from the top of my head are:

leg dams all limit 1, arm dams, body dams all limit 1.  make the items that have 2 slots just limit 2 like luni dam bracelets, spiked goldens, spiked wrist bucklersm rings limit 2 etc.

This will make the mud have less eq and probably more pk to probably encourage a return of players.

BTW for those people that think I might be insane for suggesting it, I just remember the best days of Arctic which IMO is wipe 3-5 the days of Horde & Shriners.  Those days the hardest zone was Stone Bluff/Sanction/Storm's Keep.  When a tank can do standing MASSACRE they were considered BUFF!  Those days people actually PKed and it was fun.  These days with too much eq lying around, people have too much eq to do the harder zones with.

I miss the days when items were so limited and/or number of hoarding players was so high that a gladiator's sword from hjors arena would sell for a small fortune.

I'm wearing hot pants right now, and I'v been rocking the mullet ever since the Achy-Breaky Heart came out.  That's why i play a game that was popular in 1995 :)
