everyone tells me that the omen quest staff stays with you if you die doing the quest, but my staff did not stay with me. is this intended or a bug? someone dragged me into the physix strip room so i had to pick up the staff from the ground - could that have prevented the staff from staying with me upon death?
I'm now in a state where i cannot get a staff because i have already started the quest (i'm being told to do something with the staff rather than go get the item that i exchanged for the staff) but since i dont have a staff i cannot enter the quest zone - so progress seems impossible.
